Fantastic performance, but...
Living Colour was on their game and very entertaining. Loved their music for years and it was my first time seeing them live. elMonstero was awesome as always, their show just seems to get better every year. Both bands joining up for a few songs was a blast and very memorable. Top marks to both bands for their showmanship, talent and enthusiasm. But... the venue put a cameraman standing on a box center stage, towering 8 feet tall directly between the stage and me and dozens of others for the whole show. Nothing against the cameramen, he was just doing his job. But whoever decided to plant him there should be fired. He was omnipresent in every view of the stage, which just plain sucked. Extremely annoying. I actually had to watch the video screens to see Vernon Reid's fretwork. There's a thing called a telephoto lens, Hollywood Casino. Try that next time instead.
